The field of AYA cancer care is growing and we are learning more and more about what AYA patients need to improve their chance of survival and their quality of life. We make these improvements through clinical trials and research.
Our program, in partnership with the UNC Cancer Hospital and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, is dedicated to improving AYA cancer care by offering clinical trial opportunities for AYAs. We offer treatment, supportive care, and registry studies for AYA patients as we strive for better treatments and new cures. Our AYA team is available to help you and your doctors decide on what trial may be the best fit for you.
We belong to a vibrant and innovative AYA research community at UNC, across the state, and around the country. We’re excited to lead, collaborate on, and participate in research that hopes to improve AYA care.
